Erich, in his own words, has "always been a woodworker." Having grown
up in and around his grandfather's shop, the wood shop has always been
a familiar place to him.

He is one of Montpelier Construction's cabinetry and built-in specialists, as well as the go-to guy when it comes to producing custom furniture and millwork married to a job-site's architectural details.

After beginning his career at 18 in a fine furniture shop in Calais, he found his way to Colorado and the custom cabinetry field. There he learned many time-saving techniques in a semi-production environment, which he brought back to Vermont.

A partner at Montpelier Construction since 2006, Erich's greatest satisfaction comes from translating "what works in a client's head to what works on the ground."

A local musician and drum builder as well, he is a man of varied talents and close tolerances.
