Lastly, our eyes aren’t on just the build of your home: we look at the long-term. Sustainability is a key aspect of many of our projects. We deliver low-operating cost solutions for your home, such as high-performing envelopes, ADA accessibility, low maintenance heating and cooling systems, good indoor air quality, and more.

While no build is exactly the same, there is a general flow to how we work with our clients:

We’ll schedule a time to discuss your project in-depth
Conduct a detailed discussion about your project, your proposed budget, the size and scope of it, what you want in your build, what you don’t, and which high-performance aspects you want
Meet at project site
Design work begins – Montpelier Construction can do the architectural work and we also work with many local architects
Plans are approved
The budget is created and approved and sub-contractors’ contracts are secured
Move into the construction phase
We are your One-Stop Shop – Many times, it falls onto homeowners to find specialty tradespeople for their builds, like tile installers, fine woodworkers, trim experts, electricians, and others. This can be time-consuming and frustrating and may push completion dates out if you have to wait for certain contractors to become available. This is never an issue when you work with Montpelier Construction.
